Summer is here, and with kids out of school, there's lots of energy and excitement. One of the best ways to keep kids entertained during these sunny months is through story time.

But with so many books out there, how do you pick the right ones? We have some CP Early Education & Care teachers' favorite books to share. These picks are perfect for making summer story time a fun experience.

The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle (ages 1-3)

A classic tale of a caterpillar who eats his way through different foods before transforming into a beautiful butterfly.

Little Quack by Lauren Thompson (ages 1-3)

A book that explores the relationship between nature and emotions.Look and Listen by Diane White (ages 4-8)
