A Lot Happens in November

Nov. 1, 2021 12:09 pm

Well, October is a wrap, and boy did that go fast. Even as I work on this post, it's hard to think that today is November 1. As the anchor on the morning news I watch said this morning: "Only two more months left of the year!"

We just wrapped up the CP Auction about two weeks ago, where our community helped us raised an astounding $88,000. Normally after an event there would be a lull - a bit of downtime between one thing ending and other starting. A time for us to catch our breath and reflect before moving ahead. It seems as if those opportunities aren't as consistent as they once were. Our days on the calendar just keep filling up.

At CP the start of November 2021 marks the beginning planning for Telethon 2022, taking place on WBAY on March 5&6. Finishing touches have been made to the end of year appeal, renovations are well underway at CP Early Education & Care's second location in Suamico and we are working on final details for our next Clash of the Keys event this January at the Outer Edge Stage in Appleton. So, while things are busy, there is a lot to look forward to.

Turns out there is quite a lot that has happened on November 1 over the years. I'll leave you with a few fun facts, but I also hope that your November goes nice and slow, with plenty of open times on your calendar to relax and recharge.
