SMILES is unique and innovative alternative programming for children. SMILES is designed to help children from preschool to shool age addess a vareity of needs in a group or one-on-one setting. A medical diagnosis is not necessary to enroll.

How do I know if my child could benefit from SMILES?

Indicators to consider include:
- Easily distracted
- Impulsivity
- Hyperactivity/restlessness
- Reacts to loud noises
- Clothing is irritating or unbearable
- Has trouble building social relationships
- Has trouble communicating
- Won’t touch or taste certain foods
- Displays balance and coordination difficulties
- Difficulty with hand writing and fine motor construction
- Limited interest in recreational opportunities
